The personal message system

Looking at the forum tracking stats, it appears a forum member may be abusing the PM (personal message) system by trying to send more than 10 personal messages per hour. This is simply unacceptable and it will not be tolerated. Forum members (including myself) do NOT want to be spammed with PMs asking for clip after clip or just being spammed in general.

Sending a PM is fine, but if you abuse it by sending PMs constantly then you may face your forum account being banned/deleted. If you're a forum member and you feel another forum member is spamming you, please send me a PM and let me know. I don't want this kind of activity happening on this forum.

This is a notice to forum members just letting you know that I put a limit on the number of personal messages you can have in your My Messages inbox/outbox. I did this so people don't just join the forum to spam members. Currently it's based on your membergroup, see below:

Membergroup - Max # of personal messages
New Member - 10
Junior Member - 50
Full Member - 50
Long-time Member - 50
All-Time Member - 50
Hall of Fame Member - 50
Gretzky-like Member - 60
Stanley Cup-like Member - 70

*Remember if you're a forum member and you receive something that you consider spam from this forum (either by personal message or through email) please let me know ASAP so I can take the appropriate measures to deal with whoever is causing trouble.
