Steve Downie lays out Dean McAmmond

Wow what a hit from Steve Downie. The hit looks late to me as McAmmond shoveled the puck to the short side of the net as he went to skate behind the net and Downie just layed him out. McAmmond received a concussion from this hit. I feel a suspension coming up for Downie.

Here's a YouTube video of the hit from the Senators broadcast. As you can see in the clip, Downie comes from center ice all the way down and hits McAmmond. And then everyone goes after Downie after the hit.
