There are many multimedia players out there that can play media/video/audio files. The main programs I use are Windows Media Player and VLC Player. You can download both for free.

If you have problems playing video clips in your multimedia player you may be missing a codec. I would suggest downloading the K-Lite Codec Pack. I wasn't able to play AVI files in Windows Media Player before, but after downloading the codec pack and installing it, I am now able to view AVI files in Windows Media Player.
